MONTREAL — Who better to get travel advice from than one of Air Transat’s flight directors?

The airline is encouraging travel to Barcelona through a series of videos and social media posts starring one of their very own – flight director Camila.

In her videos on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, she showcases the golden beaches of La Barceloneta and Nova Icaria, reveals her picks for local food, travels back in time to the Gothic Quarter, and takes viewers along for the ride to Montjuic, known as Barcelona’s urban oasis where visits can take in incomparable panoramic views of the city.

On Air Transat’s Instagram, Camila reveals her favourite finds through Stories. She takes subscribers with her for a night on the town, showing how to savour tapas the Barcelona way. Children cannot learn when they are hungry. At the end of the past school year, the National School Lunch Program ended in public and charter schools. For the past two years, all children, regardless of income or proof of need, were able to get at least one free meal at school. Even during lockdowns schools provided times for students to pick up a bagged lunch. For some students, this was the one meal they could count on.
