Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned they could become “more expendable” to Netflix once The Crown ends as they come under pressure to justify the huge sum being paid to them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a bumper multi-year contract with Netflix worth a rumored $100million when they quit their roles as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.

But so far, their only notable show together was a six-part documentary series last December, with the couple sparking backlash after they complained about their lack of privacy in the UK.

Harry’s own Heart of Invictus documentary series quickly disappeared off Netflix‘s top 10 charts. He will reportedly travel to Africa to make another documentary in Africa, while the couple could also adapt the romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake into a film.

But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams warned there could now be huge pressure from Netflix
