For our ten year anniversary, we took a cruise to Alaska on Royal Caribbean, Quantum of the Seas. This was Kelly’s third time on a cruise however, it was TJ’s and Tamarr’s first. When we started out our RV ventures, we said we wanted to drive to Alaska. After about a year into RV life and after hearing several stories about potential damage to your vehicle on the road to Alaska, we settled on a cruise. This worked out perfect since we later decided to sell the RV. We’re absolutely happy we took the trip but now have a burning desire to return. Don’t worry, this is somewhere in the far future and we would be driving. The cruise afforded us the opportunity to visit several cool towns that are only accessible by boat or plane. As for the cruise itself, we were pleased with everything we experienced. In general, we think the staff were professional and went above and beyond to make everyone’s trip a pleasure. Our only regret was not being able to see the glacier however that was outside of the control of the ships captain. On the day that we were to visit, there were a lot of loose ice that was visible in the water. And not wanting a repeat of the titanic, he wisely decided to turn around.
