Lean into the obvious. We know people travel to Kansas City, so why not own it? The campaign concept “Come for Kansas City and stay for Overland Park” capitalized on that notion. We created an extensive library of images and video highlighting real people of OP enjoying local restaurants, entertainment, sports and more to bring life to the existing, vibrant lifestyle available in Overland Park. These assets were crafted into print, social, video and digital audio stories that reached consumers through an extensive media buy. Each element in the Come for… Stay for… campaign accomplished two goals – laying the groundwork for establishing a sense of place while positioning OP as a top-of-mind destination for travelers, encouraging them to explore more by visiting Overland Park.
