Erie Community Steps up to Stuff the Cop Car – Erie News Now [Video]

Millcreek Police and Second Harvest Food Bank teamed up for a two-day food collection at Walmart on West Ridge Road this weekend.

After doing their weekly shopping at Walmart, people may have purchased some extra food to donate to children in need on Sunday.Jami Braden was one of the many people who stepped up to donate, “It’s nice to help people in need and it comes back to you if you are ever in need, it will come back to you.”

The food collection was aimed towards helping children in the area.

Patrolman Katrina Kuhl with Millcreek Police explained, “Things are tight right now for everyone, so we want to make sure the kids have the nutrition and to do that they need to get to school and be successful.”

For two mornings, members of the Millcreek Police Department collected food and monetary donations and they said the community showed …

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
