How I Planned for My Nonprofit Sabbatical Leave & Preventing Burnout

Considering nonprofit sabbatical leave? Here’s my experience. #nonprofits #burnout #sabbatical

Preventing burnout is not just ideal, it’s a must-have for nonprofit jobs. Nonprofit leaders are notorious for working intensely and overcoming big challenges while trying to help as many as we can, which puts us at greater risk of burnout. But a sabbatical, when feasible, can help people in nonprofit jobs rest, recover, and re-energize for the work ahead.

In this video I share a little bit more about my own experience planning a nonprofit sabbatical and share some steps and tips for you to plan your own nonprofit sabbatical leave.
