According to the retailer, the stores are closing because Walmart bosses failed to reach an agreement with the property owners regarding the leases.
The retailer noted that overall business is strong, but that the two stores are also closing due to underperformance, per the NBC affiliate KNSD.
Walmart sales in 2023 were nearly $600 billion, according to the National Retail Federation.
