Adirondack Theatre Festival announces 2024 lineup [Video]

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Adirondack Theatre Festival (ATF) is returning to Glens Falls for its 30th anniversary. On February 10, the festival also announced “Stories Start Here,” the biggest independent fundraising campaign in the company’s history.

The “Stories Start Here” Campaign will support new audience development efforts as well as new plays and musicals. With the support, ATF will commission “Worth: An Intimate Exhibition,” written and performed by “Ozark” star Jessica Frances Dukes, and a stage adaptation of Ken Tingley’s book “The Last American Newspaper.”

“The 2020 shutdown permanently altered the landscape of the professional theatre field,” said ATF Producing Artistic Director Miriam Weisfeld. “It’s going to take the biggest fundraising effort ATF has ever seen to invest in new art and new audiences and make sure ATF is here for the next generation. And we’re off to an astonishing start.”
