Can you place these 18 landmarks on a map that most Brits can’t? [Video]

Have you been to Mexico, or Brazil, Colombia? Perhaps you’ve ventured into Asia and travelled to Indonesia or Malaysia.

If you’ve been to these places then chances are you visited some of their most famous landmarks., but you might find it hard to pinpoint them on a map.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone, plenty of people have found it difficult to locate some of these iconic destinations.

Hotel chain Premier Inn asked 250 participants to pinpoint landmarks on a global map and noted the accuracy of each, to show how well the average person knows the world’s most famous sights.  

The Eiffel Tower was found to be the landmark Brits can locate with most ease, followed by the Colosseum in Rome and Yellowstone National Park in the U.S.

Weirdly, Brits found placing these locations easier to spot than our own landmarks – including Big Ben, Hadrian’s Wall and Loch Ness.
