CARMEL, Maine (WABI) – The town of Carmel is mourning the tragic loss of their town manager, Kevin Howell.
He meant so much to so many, and the community wants to ensure his legacy lives on.
In Newport, the owner of Bargain Depot decided to join in on fundraising efforts and create a raffle.
The funds raised will go toward memorial services for Kevin.
You can purchase a ticket for $20 or six tickets for $100.
Participants will have the chance to win gift cards from local businesses, or you could win heating oil, a gas grill with barbeque utensils, and more.
The owner says she’s proud of the way the community came together to support the Howell family.
