Gamers across the country have been raising much-needed funds for cancer research, with charity live streams already fetching tens of thousands of dollars.
The Game on Cancer campaign has been off and running for the past two weeks, with streamers jumping online to host live gaming events while raising money for charity organisation Cure Cancer.
Emily Dalton, who goes by the online alias 1UpEmily, has been a regular Twitch streamer for years and said she has big plans for her streaming event.
“We are going to play a number of fun games with the community like Gartic Phone, and also check out a few new titles thanks to Koch Media.
“It should be a lot of fun for everyone that tunes in,” she told 9News.com.au
