Drone footage from South Australia‘s Kangaroo Island has captured the moment three sharks made an appearance close to the water’s surface.
The footage was taken at Pennington Bay, on the south side of Kangaroo Island by resident Grant Coutts, with the help of a drone.
It shows a school of salmon swimming away from three sharks, which are believed to be bronze whalers.
“People do go to Pennington Bay to swim and surf, there’s pretty good waves for surfing but at that time there wasn’t anyone in the water,” Coutts said.
The bay is located in a remote stretch of coastline, on the opposite side of the island to where the ferry operates at Penneshaw.
