Joshua Solomon annual Birthday Bash sheds light on brain cancer [Video]

In 2009, Joshua passed away from brain cancer. Now, his parents Trent and Labrina Solomon are organizing an event to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer.

MACON, Ga. — Next Saturday, Central Georgia will be celebrating Joshua Solomon.

In 2009, Joshua passed away from diffuse infuse pointine gliona, a type of brain cancer.

Joshua was four years old when doctors discovered the cancer and five years old when he passed. 

14 years later, his parents Trent and Labrina Solomon are organizing this event to raise money and awareness for childhood brain cancer.

“He never met a stranger and he loved bringing people together, and it’s a great cause to bring people together,” Trent said.

From Thomas the Tank Engine to his favorite church tunes, Joshua was known to have a bright and energetic spirit that is said to be forever instilled in the community.
