Whether it’s raising money for charity, getting yourself fit or simply ticking running a 26.2 mile course off your bucket list, the London Marathon is among the most memorable sporting events of the UK calendar.
While entering the ballot is very simple, being successful is very tricky, with the event growing in popularity each year.
Around 17,000 spaces are up for grabs via the ballot and in 2020, over 457,000 people applied via that route, which shows just how hard it is to get a place on the start line.
