Ontario PC’s Stephen Lecce apologizes for participation in “slave auction” event at university frat [Video]

Ontario Progressive Conservative candidate Stephen Lecce, who served as education minister in the Doug Ford government, is apologizing on Wednesday after he came under fire for participating in a “slave auction” event when he was part of a fraternity at Western University in the late 2000s. The report was first published by PressProgress and detailed how Lecce was part of the auction event to raise money for charity in his second year of university at Sigma Chi fraternity in 2006. Lecce, who also is the PC MPP for King-Vaughan, has since responded to the story with an apology, and did not deny his involvement.
