Charities are becoming increasingly data driven. As they look to improve fundraising performance and engage new and existing supporters following two years of turbulence, using data more effectively was ranked the second most important priority for charities in the Charity Digital Skills Report 2021. But what does using data effectively mean when it comes to fundraising? From supporter value to contactability, the possible things to measure are endless and the best Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to choose in each area is debatable. Some can be misleading while others are very difficult to quantify. As the saying goes, not everything that can be counted counts. In this webinar, Wood for Trees Director of Analysis, Andrew Sargent, and Consultant Analyst, Rob Dyer, describe the key metrics for charities to consider in tracking their fundraising income and pick their top five to use.
