Local restaurant giving back to the community with new catering service [Video]

Around the World Gourmet in Bellaire, Ohio, has announced it is now catering to the Upper Ohio Valley under the name Compass Catering. With this new catering venture, owner Jennifer Kocher says she also wants to give back to the local community and will donate a portion of event proceeds to a local charity and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A MAINE GYM IS HOPING TO ‘LIFT UP’ THEIR COMMUNITY AGAIN THIS WEEKEND. IRON LEGION STRENGTH CO. IS HOSTING ITS SIXTH ANNUAL “OPERATION CHANGE”.. ALL OF PROCEEDS FROM THE CHARITY DEADLIFTING MEET GO TO “MAKE-A- WISH” MAINE. PEOPLE WHO TRAIN AT THE GYM GET THE CHANCE TO SHOWCASE THEIR PHYSICAL STRENGTH SATURDAY.. WHILE THEY COLLECTIVELY STRENGTHEN THEIR COMMUNITY. 18;53;48;03 GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN HUGELY IMPORTANT TO US. IT’S JUST A NO BRAINER, IT’S JUST WHAT WE DO. 18;53;54;16 18;52;33;19 OUR FIRST YEAR WE RAISED 4,000, OUR SECOND YEAR WE RAISED A LITTLE OVER TEN AND LAST YEAR, WE RAISED OVER 29,000 18;52;41;03 LAST YEAR — THEY RAISED ENOUGH TO SUPPORT FOUR CHILDREN..
