🏆What did this Pulitzer Prize Finalist get at World Harvest Food Bank for a $9 donation? HAUL VIDEO🏆

This is my first food bank haul video as a newly minted Pulitzer Prize Finalist in Drama! Today’s Haul was actually $42! $33 for the “a la carte items” of seasonings, vitamins, etc (still a massive bargain!) and $9 for the eggs, produce and bread you see at the end. Grocery prices are rising and yet, we aren’t sweating it! That’s right friends! We’re going to show you how FIVE HOUSEHOLDS can eat for a couple weeks on $45! Today’s haul was split 5 ways at $9 each! We also bought some extra items. We got some really great stuff! We will put the leftovers in a community fridge to share the wealth with others. To find a community fridge in Los Angeles go here: https://community-fridge.bubbleapps.io/In general a $45 cart has enough calories to feed several families! I make these videos to de-stigmatize food banks and show you how much fun our monthly trips are! In Los Angeles, the World Harvest Food Bank offers a giant cart of food for $45 or 4 hours of volunteer work. You can also get a small hand basket at $15-20 if you are coming alone. You also don’t need to be on EBT or show proof of income to shop here! Rich folks shop here all the time! More about World Harvest here: 3100 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019 https://www.worldharvestla.org/This started as a #50buckgrocerychallenge in 2020 where for the first time, I tracked my grocery spending and tried to only spend $50 on groceries a month. I learned to cook, was more resourceful about food, and less wasteful. And I’ve done it TWO YEARS IN A ROW! Spent less than $600 a year on groceries. This did not include eating out, but I curbed that a ton because of the pandemic and also this challenge. But considering most meals were at home, this is REALLY IMPRESSIVE. And saved me a ton of money! I also am fortunate to live near World Harvest Food Bank in Los Angeles where you can buy a heaping cart of food for $40 or get it free for 4 hours of volunteer work. You should never be ashamed to use these resources! And the quality is really good. Last year I ate well and my grocery budget for the year was under $600! And that includes food that I bought at the grocery store. #foodbank #foodbankhaul #freegan #dumpsterdiving #cheapmeals #free #cheap #cheapfood #foodieTo follow me: www.kristinawong.comwww.instagram.com/mskristinawong
