In early 2020, Puerto Rico was hit by a series of earthquakes, including a 6.4-magnitude temblor. Power went out across the entire island, and Puerto Ricans experienced aftershocks multiple times a day. Our Relief Team immediately jumped into action, providing more than 380,000 meals to impacted communities. #ChefsForPuertoRico __ Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit organization that is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises, while working to build resilient food systems with locally led solutions.
