This week Mel, the kids and mum came to visit the boat 🙂 It was great having the family down at the boat and firing up the weber for a BBQ. Jan came down to join us for the BBQ having a break from working on his catamaran a few boats down! Mel & I had a good talk about the Aft cabin & the Forward Cabin with the spacing for beds causing a bit of an issue with door alignments! The flu has hit the family hard after a school camp! So not as much progress this week but I do go through the design changes and upcoming plans for the bedrooms. Fitting out both the interior and exterior, this rundown sailboat is an empty steel hull that requires a full restoration! It will be a huge challenge working full time and running our family + businesses, but over the next 4-5 years we will get there… with lots of family holidays to come!!
