The island has no airport meaning most flights go into Kavala, mainland greece, before taking a large boat to the Island. Thassos is on of the mountainous islands in Greece with mountains with an altitude greater than Ben Nevis! We are staying at Emerald Studios and Suites, a 2* hotel with stunning panoramic views of Golden Beach, a pool and studio style rooms.
