What grant options are available for electric vehicle charge point installations?✅ £350 is available for some home charge point installations✅ £350 is available for each workplace charge point installation✅ £50 is available on all home charge point installationsSo, how do each of these EV charge point installation grants work in the real world?Home charge point installations: People who a rent a property or own an apartment / flat, which has designated parking where the charge point will be fitted and have a qualifying electric or hybrid vehicle, can claim £350 towards the cost.Workplace charge point installations: A registered business, charity, or landlord, who has designated parking where the charge point is fitted (bizarrely you don’t even need to have a vehicle, let alone an electric one) can claim £350 towards the cost for each charge point (up to a maximum of 40 charging sockets or £14,000). £700 can be claimed for charge points with two charging sockets.£50 off all home charge points: This grant is open to all people having a home charge point installed (even people who own a house and can no longer claim the OZEV grant). Qualifying vehicles or designated parking are not required. Although the charge point must be fitted within regulations.Please note. The ‘£50 off all home charge points’ grant ends on the 30th April 2022, and must be installed by Evolution Solutions within 3-week of the order date to qualify.Claiming these grants is easy, as we do the work for you.
