Manchin’s 30-Year Corruption Scandal EXPOSED [Video]

Joe Manchin is at the center of a major public corruption scandal.A new NYT investigation finds that, for 30 years, Manchin used his official position to benefit a West Virginia power plant, all while getting a cut of its revenue.Joe Manchin owned several gob mines in the 1980s. He used his position as state senator to get an air pollution permit so the plant near his district could burn gob coal, despite the danger for the community. Then he made a deal to sell the plant gob in exchange for a cut of revenue.Manchin pushed for tax credits to subsidize West Virginia plants that burned gob coal. He also worked behind the scenes as governor to pass rate increases for the plant. Grant Town has cost MonPower more than $117 million more than it would have to buy power from other sources.For two decades, he made millions as the exclusive gob supplier to the Grant Town plant.
