The story behind Arroz Con Pollo a la Manolo from WCK’s cookbook

Each chapter in The WCK Cookbook reflects one of the values that drive our work. In “Adaptability” you will find recipes that can easily be modified to suit the ingredients and tools you have at hand. Rice is the perfect ingredient for adaptation. WCK has served rice countless ways, often using it as the heart of many dishes we cook. This was the case in 2017 when our Relief Team responded to the devastation caused in Puerto Rico by Hurricane María. Our team cooked tens of thousands of plates of arroz con pollo thanks to Chef Manolo Martínez.

The recipe for Manolo’s arroz con pollo is included in The WCK Cookbook (page 147 if you already have your copy!).
