Christine-Marié is a Curriculum Manager for Curro Holdings, a Private School Group situated in South Africa. She is responsible for curriculum design and development for Afrikaans and Social Sciences for primary school learners, Grades 4-7. She has 15 years of educational experience in primary school education, mainly in contact context, with the exception of 2020 where a blended approach was applied. Her most recent master study includes intermediate phase teachers’ metacognitive awareness and worldviews for the process of self-directed learning. Christine-Marié is passionate about education and understanding teachers’ beliefs about who they are and the role they play in their own professional development.
