1st annual Sunflower festival begins this week [Video]

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) – BE Farm in Bayard set to host their first annual Sunflower Festival beginning Friday, August 11th-Sunday, August 13th.

If those dates are not available to you, then on August 16th-20th festivities continue.

This festival will include many activities throughout the whole festival, walk through a half-acre of sunflowers with many photo opportunities, and food trucks.

Billy Estes Owner/Farmer of BE Farm says “Well I’ve been looking to something new to add to our farm and who doesn’t love sunflowers. I feel like sunflowers put a smile on your face, your soul, and I’ve seen some other farms around the Country doing stuff with sunflowers and Western Nebraska is one of the best crops for sunflowers. World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
