20th annual Guns NHoses hockey game held in Roanoke [Video]

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – On Saturday, Jan 20th., the 20th annual “Guns N’ Hoses” charity hockey game was held at the Berglund Center. Local Roanoke-area IAFF Firefighters (a.k.a. the “Hoses”) compete with area police and law enforcement personnel (a.k.a the “guns) to raise money for local Roanoke Valley Charities.

This years charity foundation is Straight Street Roanoke Valley, a non-profit outreach organization for teens in middle and high school. This year during the game the Hoses were able to defeat the Guns 5-3 on the ice.

Roanoke Valley Guns & Hoses Hockey President Toby Martin was also honored during the contest as well.
