21st annual Share Your Holidays campaign begins Wednesday [Video]

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The holiday season gets underway Wednesday and NewsChannel 7 is gearing up to begin our 21st year of Share Your Holidays. Our annual fundraiser and food drive benefits The Neighbors’ Place, The Salvation Army and Peyton’s Promise.

During the last 20 years, NewsChannel 7 has collected more than $1.3 million in donations. But we can’t do it alone. You have helped the cause by easing the burden for those who may be struggling this holiday season. And we need your help again this year.

Executive Director of The Neighbors’ Place Donna Ambrose joined Sunrise 7 Wednesday morning to talk about the importance of the effort.

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
