A “New” Bike for the 2022 Longest Day Challenge – Dick Gets the Whale ready for the LDU

Dick returns from a three day trip to get the Whale (his 2001 Honda Transalp 650) road ready one month before departing on the Longest Day Challenge.

The Longest Day Challenge has been running for 10 years and has raised over £250,000 for Cancer Research UK. Participants ride cheap motorcycles (under £600) from Land’s End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland over 1000 miles in 24 hours.
