Adopt a Grad program helping seniors get easier access to graduation essentials [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A program in Sioux City is helping senior students cover the costs of graduation.

The “Adopt a Grad” program is underway to provide students with caps, gowns and tassels. The schools included in this program at West, North and East High School.

Once a student has graduated, they have the option to donate their caps and gowns to future graduating seniors. People also have the option to donate $50 to cover the cost of graduation essentials for a graduating senior.

The donation box is located in the Tyson Events Center and is taking donations throughout the school year.

WCK Celebration of Life at Washington National Cathedral [Video]

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
