All Kids Bike program gifts Harrisburg elementary school with bikes, safety equipment [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing physical education in schools made a donation to Harrisburg School District’s Adventure Elementary School earlier this week.

The All Kids Bike program gifted 24 bikes, helmets, and an instructional bike for the school’s PE teacher.

“With the bikes now assembled and ready to roll, Adventure Elementary students are eager to dive into their first lesson. Mrs. Denman, equipped with her instructional bike, is excited to guide the young riders through the essential skills of balancing, leaning, maneuvering, and spatial awareness,” said Communications Director and Community Education Coordinator JoAnne VerMulm.

Student Council members volunteered to help assemble the bikes on Thursday.
