Brewer P.D. holds annual Toys for Tots campaign | Local News [Video]

BREWER — If you stopped by Walmart in Brewer on Saturday, December 16th, you might’ve seen a Brewer police cruiser parked out front.

The reason was for their annual Toys for Tots campaign

It’s a tradition the Brewer Police Department is proud to uphold.

Every year around this time, officers park a cruiser, open their doors, and accept donations, this year, from some very caring Brewer Walmart patrons.

“People have been very generous today,” said Brewer Police Department Chief Jason Moffitt. “We’ve had a couple of people come by and donate an entire cart-full.”

From a fire station playhouse to stuffed animals, popular holiday toys, and a life-sized version of a fan-favorite Star Wars character.

This year, they partnered with a new organization to help officers drive away with a cruiser full of toys.

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
