Cleveland Hopkins Airport offers travel tips for summer 2024 [Video]

In order for travelers to have a smooth experience, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is offering tips ahead of the busy summer season.

CLEVELAND — With summer vacations right around the corner for many, Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE) is preparing for one of the busiest travel seasons in recent years. 

The airport anticipates a major increase in travel during the “100 Days of Summer,” between Memorial Day and Labor Day. 

Officials say they are expecting more than 3.3 million travelers, up 200,000 from last year’s total during the same time period. 

In order for travelers to have a quality airport experience, CLE is offering the following travel tips.

General travel tips 

  • Arrive at least 2 hours before domestic flights 
  • Arrive at least 3 hours before international flights 
  • Flight statuses
  • Airline contact information
  • Dining and retail options
  • Art exhibit locations
  • Current TSA Checkpoint wait times
  • Status of airport parking entities
