‘Coats for Kids:’ Local Car Dealership Collects Clothing for Those In Need | Local [Video]

YORKVILLE, N.Y. — The Steet Ponte Auto Group is holding its sixth-annual winter clothing drive this month to benefit kids in the Utica, Rome and Valley school districts.

From now until Nov. 1, donations of winter clothing can be dropped off at any Steet Ponte location.

They are looking for new coats and winter apparel, including jackets, snow pants, mittens, hats and scarves. They’re looking for sizes 4T to kids XL. 

“We started this coat drive in response to our now, 16th-annual Holiday Toy Drive. Year after year, we were getting overwhelming requests for winter coats and snow pants instead of toys and gifts.
