Summary of the Del Norte LOV Foundation

The Del Norte LOV Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organization and an independent foundation associated with Del Norte Credit Union. Our mission is to improve lives of youth and families in New Mexico through community support programs, including: scholarships, community grants, sponsorships, financial literacy and community engagement.

The LOV in our name stands for Living Our Vision, in that the employee-driven Del Norte LOV Foundation is committed to advocating for the communities DNCU serves and to promote financial literacy, volunteerism, education, and improving lives for the youth and their families.

DNCU Employees give back through Teen Day Tuesdays, a program where staff generously donate charitable contributions through their payroll deductions. These donations and those from our communities helped provide more than $106,000 in community support, such as $52,000 in sponsorships, $10,000 in scholarships, $10,000 in financial literacy programs, $25,000 in community grant funding, and so much more for our local nonprofit partners in 2021.

We understand that investing our efforts will positively impact the future for us all. We especially want to support the well-being of youth and their families through life-stages, such as early childhood development, educational, vocational, and scholarship opportunities.
