The Erie United Methodist Alliance passed out goodies bags to families in the EUMA’s refuge. It coincided with National Compliment Day, a day to help uplift and encourage others through words.
Kids from the Edinboro United Methodist Church made goodie bags with toys, candy and compliments.
The goodie bags were for families with children in the EUMA’s refuge. Last year, the refuge served 162 people, 95 of them were children. The hope is that these goodie bags will help lift spirits, spread encouragement and make a positive impact on everyone involved.
EUMA is dedicated to ending homelessness, and if they’re always accepting donations. If you want to know what supplies they’re looking for you can head to their website.
