EUGENE, Ore. – The Eugene airport is preparing for the two busiest weekends of holiday travel, as it expects around 30,000 passengers flying in alone.
According to AAA, this year will be the second busiest year ever for holiday travel. In Oregon, about 90% of Oregonians will drive, and 156,000 will fly for Christmas and other holidays, according to AAA. A large chunk of those flying will make the trip out of the Eugene Airport.
