How to travel as a family and include each family member in the planning is something that can be very difficult, but as a family that travels together often and in planning to drive around the World, we have identified 4 easy steps to family travel planning that we want to share with you in the first episode of our How to travel series. Travelling as a family or traveling with loved ones is rewarding but challenging. The trick is inclusion. Everyone travels differently. It is identifying the common travel goals and dreams that is key to the successful family adventures, as well as allowing each person to have some input into the planning and travel itinerary. The 4 step for family travel planning are set up so that your travel dreams can be aligned with the dreams of those who will be joining you on the vacation. If it is a family vacation of holiday, it is important that every member gets to enjoy the experience at the pace they want.

We first identify where to travel as a family by choosing a region or a theme for the trip. It is especially important to decide if the right trip is a domestic trip or and international destination. Then, we watch a plethora of the best YouTube Travel Channels and Travel vloggers to hone in on what the perfect itinerary is for our family trip. We, then, use an incognito tab to search for pricing on the best travel websites. Our favorite tools are Google Flights, Tripadvisor, AirBNB, Kayak Travel, and Hotels.com , but most of the time we try to fly free and stay free with Credit card rewards programs. We will teach you our favorite entry level travel credit cards and travel hacks in our series on travel 101 in the coming months.
