Governor Youngkin donates quarter salary to Norfolk preschool [Video]

More than 40 thousand dollars went to the new E-3 School to help its students and scholarship programs.

NORFOLK, Va. — Governor Glenn Youngkin made a stop in Norfolk to donate his second-quarter salary to the New E-3 School. His second-quarter salary amounted to $43,750. 

The money will go towards the preschool’s students and scholarship programs.

“I’ve said many, many times – it all starts with parents,” said Youngkin. “When we have great teachers and we have a whole community engaged – we can change the future of our kids and that is exactly what’s happening here and across the Commonwealth.”

According to the new E-3 School’s website, the school gives children innovative initiatives to give children under the age of eight higher deductions. This includes science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and math.

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
