How to help San Diego flood victims [Video]

The Salvation Army/CBS 8 Working For You Flood Drive is Wednesday, January 31.

SAN DIEGO — CBS 8 is Working For You and partnering with the Salvation Army to help those San Diegans impacted by the flooding. The Salvation Army/CBS 8 Working For You Flood Drive is Wednesday, January 31. CBS 8 will be broadcasting live from the Flood Drive. Watch starting at 11AM through Noon and then during CBS 8 at 4PM, 5PM and 6PM.

There are several ways to make a donation:

  • The Salvation Army will host a phone bank to take donations, starting at 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Here is the phone number to call: 866-487-3648.
  • Donations can also be made online at any time. Click here to make a donation.
  • Donations can also be made in person. Feel free to drop off items, such as blankets and towels at the Salvation Army Kroc Center located at 6753 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115.

World Central Kitchen held an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor our heroes killed in Gaza. The memorial service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 25.
