As the Legislature begins the 2023 session with a budget surplus, of course their immediate response is the potential of tax cuts.
I wonder if these legislators ever do their own grocery shopping.
I’m retired and the price of groceries is a burden. I can’t even imagine what it is like for a family with children, where both parents have jobs in order to pay for rent and utilities, and then their food is taxed.
For a state that touts families first it would be nice to have a Legislature that actually supports families and removes the food tax.
