Christmas Mother program working to spread message of hopeDear Friends of Hanover:

I feel humbled and extremely honored to have been selected to serve as the 2023 Hanover Christmas Mother. This cherished program has existed since 1949 and continues to work with Ruritan club members and volunteers to make Christmas a little brighter and merrier for many Hanover residents.

Since 1989, the Doswell Ruritan Club has sponsored this program and provided food cards and gift cards for toys and clothing to Hanover residents who have requested assistance. Last year, the program provided 572 families with food cards, 1305 children with toy and clothing cards and 64 seniors with food cards.

The Hanover Christmas Mother (solely supported by community donations) is a 501© charitable organization where donations are fully tax-deductible. With the requests for assistance continuing to increase, please join with me and the Doswell Ruritan Club by giving as generously as you are able. To use a credit card, please visit www.hanoverchristmasmother.org, …
