Lincoln YMCA hosts triathlon to raise funds for children, families in need [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Fallbrook YMCA hosted its seventh annual youth triathlon on Monday.

The proceeds of the event go toward the YMCA’s fundraising campaign, Strong Kids, which provides services to families in need.

Those services include swimming lessons, youth sports, and before and after-school programs.

Kids ages five and older participated in the triathlon, in which courses were set up around the Fallbrook YMCA.

In total, over 100 kids took part in the event and nearly $9,000 was raised to help those in the community.
