Local residents volunteered with Toys for Tots preparing donations for holiday season | Local [Video]

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Several are spending their day of giving helping to prepare toys for children this holiday season. Toys for Tots says they’re expecting around 70 to 80 volunteers by the end of the day.

“Its so exciting to see all the stuff that is brought for Toys for Tots all on a volunteer basis and everybody is helping. It does my heart good,” said Pam Thompson. 

Thompson is just one of many donating her time by helping Toys for Tots. The Toys for Tots campaign provides toys to both families and local groups in need. One of those programs this campaign supports includes the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.
