LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Matt Talbot is calling on Chiefs fans, 49ers fans and everyone else to help tackle hunger with their annual Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser.
It’s a national initiative to raise food for local food pantries and help those in need. More than $25 million has been raised for hunger relief across the country in its 30 years.
What you’re asked to do is get together a team, whether that’s coworkers, a sports team or a church group, and pool together as much food as possible. That food will go to Matt Talbot and help those in the Capital City.
