Monopoly for the Monarch fundraiser at Eastmont March 24 [Video]

Monopoly lovers will have an opportunity to transform their love for the game into a tool for change at the Eastmont Foundation’s “Monopoly for the Monarch” fundraising event Sunday, March 24, from 2:30-5 p.m. at the Eastmont Performing Arts Center, 6315 O St.

The event will begin with registration, hors d’oeuvres, wine, chance bags and raffle ticket sales. At 3:30 p.m., guests will be welcomed and tournament rules will be explained. The tournament will run from 3:45-4:40 p.m., followed by awards and prizes from 4:40-5 p.m. Each table of four players will award a winner in addition to the tournament champion.
