The What and When
On Thursday, June 23rd between 6pm-8pm central, I will be providing a virtual training on Zoom that all nonprofit board members and staff who are currently pursuing grants need to attend. This training which is entitled Nonprofit grant writing for Board of Directors and staff is a one-of-a-kind training that is unlike any other that’s on the market. Grant writing is a misnomer; grant writing really is the sum of its parts. And its parts include elements of project management, agile, digital inclusion, open source technology, and other community-based approaches that ensure grant projects reflect strategy for the nonprofit organization as a system, as a whole. Effective grant writing training must address what is truly required to win and leverage what potential the nonprofit has. And this training does exactly that.
This training is offered in a live, virtual, and safe environment via Zoom by me, your trusted trainer La Juana “The PMO CEO” Chambers Lawson, on behalf of an internationally lauded project management office and management consulting firm – Tacit Growth Strategies.
This training is divided into 4 subjects that provide an overview of not-so-common grant writing topics in the context of nonprofit management like
– traditional/waterfall project management life cycles and stages,
– motivation theory and team building,
– risk tolerance and benefits analysis,
– SMART goal-setting and other topics that predispose grant writing projects for system-level success.
