TULSA, Okla. — A local nonprofit that helps Oklahomans with food, clothes and mental health services held a grand opening at their new location, giving a preview of their services.
Caring Hearts Foundation started in 2017 and recently moved into a new 3,000 square foot space near 46th Street North and Peoria.
“So I’m a mental health therapist at LPC and a lot of times I would have clients that would come in and they couldn’t really focus on their goals because they were stressed out about what they were going to eat or how they were going to pay their electricity bill, so we couldn’t really focus on mental health goals because there were all these other essential needs that were needing to be taken care of first.
