OWOSSO, Mich. (WJRT) – An Owosso man is calling foul and saying his Royal Caribbean cruise ship left him abroad over a disability.
Kelvin Alderman says he’d be happy with a refund.
But he’d be even *happier* if this leads to better care at Royal Caribbean–
so that others with epilepsy aren’t treated like an inconvenience.

That’s how 27-year-old Kelvin Alderman describes his Royal Caribbean cruise to the Mediterranean.
Alderman has lived with epilepsy for more than a decade and experiences seizures about every two months.
He told ABC12 he was up-front about his disability when booking his cruise. And based on experience, he thought it wouldn’t be an issue.
“With travel companies, I’ve never had a problem before,” said Alderman.
After a seizure caused him to collapse on the boat last week, the crew wanted him checked for a brain bleed.
