The 10th annual “Pancakes for PCAN” benefit, which raises awareness and funds to support local families who have a child diagnosed with cancer, will take place Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 4-7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Wildbriar Lane.
The event is an opportunity to support the Pediatric Cancer Action Network (PCAN) while partaking in all the pancakes and sausage you can eat!
“PCAN fundraises one year in advance to help us determine our budget and ability to assist families. The money raised in 2024 will determine how many families we will be able to help in 2025,” said Karri Ahlschwede, PCAN cofounder. “With a disproportionately high rate of childhood cancer in Nebraska, we know that the need greatly exceeds our resources.
